On this Unit, physicists and chemists work carefully along with biologists to elucidate the elemental rules that govern dynamic cell organisation and function. Biophysicists analyze diffraction patterns to determine the positions of the atoms in proteins, DNA and other necessary molecules. We also talk about the challenges for current technologies and future opportunities to use biophysical methods to unravel drug discovery problems.
